Inside company truck (my home) in my own bed... my own sleeping bags... in the truck...

I'll have to leave that for another time... gotta go to bed now... my own bed in this company truck...

AH! BTW... I am here...


Came here for the first time to check it out... not many truck stops on I-10 CA... rest areas are closed... lots of places on ramps and shoulders.. but here is good...

And one last thing, there was a horrible accident yesterday night on mile marker 39 of I-40 NM... the road both ways was shut down due to fatalities for over 5 hrs... there was a smell of burn in the air...
I took my 10 at the Pilot right there... there were trucks and more trucks parked on shoulders everywhere... and Pilot was a complete zooooo... I got there at 23:30 local time and amazingly was able to create a very good spot to park...
When I left in the morning, drove by the debris and the pieces of one of the trucks involved in the accident... and there was still smoke coming out of the debris... didn't save any image from my dash cam... But it looked like it was horrific...

 

I"m in California.... will deliver tomorrow way south and then may go north... near San Francisco for reload... and go thru all that nasty traffic... Y'all have a nice night....
