You must be at a low point in your life to wish ill will upon others. We are all truly sorry for your misfortune. Some of us will pray for you.

Everyone is here for the money. Nobody is coming in and doing this for free.

True...but if the money is all you are concerned with...why are you on here preaching the wonders of Walmart...as long as you are getting your humongous check, smile, be quiet, bend over, spread your cheeks and smile...problem solved:)

You are 100% right. This is how it should be...work...friends...comradery..going the extra mile because you are a professional. So many of you younger guys and folks coming into the industry don't understand something about truck driving. It is not just a job but a lifestyle...just as being in the military, police, oilfield, divers, clergy, farming, etc... The newbies are told to go for the money jobs, get the biggest mileage pay, fanciest truck, fastest rig or whatever... The truth is what you will most need to have a long happy career is respect. Respect for putting up with police, unsafe drivers, weigh stations, breakdowns, weather, missed time off, family time, your kids growing up, screwed out of money(from multiple directions), un healthy food, lack of sleep, sickness half a continent away from home, unfriendly shippers and receivers, computers, cameras, dispatchers, loneliness and the things you do to bring that rig and your load in to your destination on time, safely and intact. Along the way you develop skillsets and experience that make you an ever better driver. Eventually you become known as a driver who can deliver multiple loads on time and safely day in and day out, no matter what the obstacles. Now we have a new management at Walmart, who were not here when drivers worked in the warehouse during the day and drove at night...in trucks where the AC didn't work half the time, etc. They say all your work ethic, effort, time spent on the road mean nothing to us...you are no better than a JB Shneidhunt driver and we are going to treat you like them. The computers will drive these trucks...you just steer them...and remember...if you lose this job, you are nothing and will be miserable the rest of your worthless lives. That is the reason for what you see here on these threads...and nothing will change that till someone in Bentonville grows a pair and puts an end to production incentive rewards at any cost. (sorry to preach...had to get this in print)
