I mean. It’s annoying to constantly take my shoes off whenever I wanna go to the back of my truck. Hence why I never wear my boots unless it’s pouring rain or snow since they’re waterproof. I’m gonna try and find some kind of “slip on running” shoes today at the mall

I agree 100% or when I just need to run into the truck stop to pee at 2am haha hate having to search for socks then put on shoes. Would rather just slip and go. But idk, lol I'll probably end up cracking before too long.

If you’re going to wear sandals, it is also a requirement that you have one foot on the dash while driving.

I am honestly surprised at how many y drivers I see do this. I couldn't even begin to imagine doing this! 1. Because us husky guys aren't very flexible and 2. it'd be my luck a DOT officer would pull me over on it. And 3. all I think about when I see ppl do this (in trucks and cars) is getting lawnchaired if you get into a head on collision! That would not be a pretty way to go.

Well I have sandals that I use for running into
The truck stop quickly and all and for showers on down time etc. but I wanna get some that cover my toes and all so I can’t get in trouble for driving with them.

Haha I just had this argument with someone recently (like the last two months)
There is no law in any state that says you have to wear shoes. You can drive barefoot as long as you have 100% control of your vehicle. That even includes semis. So you can wear whatever footwear u want. Just make sure you can control your vehicle.

Good to know! Here I was about to invest into some dad sandals that they where while using a grill. You saved me. Probably the kind that rooster would wear.

Now I just wish I could grow up and not spend over 100$ on a pair of shoes. But I mean. I want something actually comfortable. So meh.
