    I also got an 01 classic xl. 500 n14 cpl 2592. 13 in front of 3.73s. 280 wheelbase.
What sleeper does yours have on it?

Edit to add: if you don't have it, get to a salvage yard to buy the inside cover for the easy bake oven moonroof and consider lining the inside with heat reflecting window tape.

Take the explosive force of those little baby capacitors and multiply it by a few ten thousands.

Wheres a good place to buy and have installed a step box for my tractor? I dont want to deal with the install. Gonna be a pain cause of tight fit and headache rack.

I'm not sure what sleeper it has. I'll post more info on it tomorrow once I get it home. Thanks for the tip to avoid baking myself alive lol

Its either a 72 or an 84 inch. I believe those were the only ones available on an xl in that year. If not sure, ##### a picture taken from a side profile and i can tell ya.

Do you have the murphy bed that folks up to reveal two benches and a table? If not. Hit a salvage yard. It should be as simple ad taking yuppie stiff out and putting it in. That table has improved my quality of life on the road by a thousand.

I usually pay for an oil change on mine because I'm to lazy to clean any mess at home and no one has ever pulled anything but the quick release cover to do it. Replacing the alternator or generator belt is another story, but even the bottom cover doesn't need to come off for those. The only time I ever pulled the bottom cover off was to replace the wiring harness.

Until you said this, I forgot about auto shop, too. Our instructor showed it to us.
