Don't have to be 400 lbs to be a slob. I know a few that are slobs and barely weigh 180.

My focus was those that are afraid to sweat, so a set down job that is climate controlled is what they look for. Unfortunately many land in the trucking industry. :)

    TEETH.

Toothless mother ####er will spend 45 minutes polishing his air cleaner.

Been back out a year now, and lots of people have seen me brushing & flossing my teeth in the head.

In a year, I'd say I've seen maybe 2 dozen guys brushing.
    AND
    Only 1 flossing.

Witch isn't bad I guess, cause you only need to floss the ones you wanna keep.

You’re right, there is no excuse for being in a Pilot. Lol.

Seriously though, I know my runnin buddies and I smell by the end of the day. Doesn’t matter that we all showered this morning. We stop and grab somethin to munch on and pay for fuel after spending a few hours on a dusty Texas location in the summer heat, you’re probably gonna smell us.

It helps bolster the immune sydtem. Like the two Asians that got off this tour bus and walked into this service plaza in front of me this morning.
Both had their index finger in their noses up to the first knuckle, and the one stopped long enough to open the door with the same hand.

I was like "My brothers from other mothers." " You guys are natural truckers!!"

Not sure they understood the words, but they got the meaning I think.

I tell you this much. When I was all in trucking I hardly never saw a dentist. I did keep up where possible on the teeth over the sink.

My first visit to our main dentist in Little ROck at the medical towers was a revelation. I think approx 10,000 dollars in variety of work done over 5 years to repair and "Zero" the accumulated damage. Needless to say, dental care had changed since my entire childhood spent in that stupid chair the old school way. No gas, no nothing. Just Dr Butcher doing what he has to the hard way.

I do continue working on the dental side where possible. The bacteria generated in the mouth in a variety of ways sometimes get into the blood stream and land in the heart valves to accumulate. Until one day that's that.

But for anyone unaware, you can spot a pain patient or illegal opiate/drug user by the black teeth a mile away. There are cosmetic treatments for a bunch of dollars that becomes possible. But it will be on them. Not covered by insurance. Meth would be very classic here. Rots the teeth so fast they need dentures by 21.
