I never had Sapp try to upsell Me any nonsense. Except that snake oil Lucas garbage. So it was always $219 I think for my series 60.
Loves really took a dump on SpeedCo.

As I understood, LF filters are Cummins own brand of filters.

I had my oil changed at Speedco in Effingham last week. They did a good job. Fast and no bs. They didn't smear grease on the white tray and tell me my boxes look dirty and for only 450$ they can change all three. No trying to sell that dogfart snake oil ultra thick gear oil from Indianapolis either.
Bean Jr., bzinger and Justrucking2 Thank this. -

I did my oil change for the first time on the road. My local mechanic does it in my driveway for $275. Including adjusting brake slack adjuster, full chassis lube, top all fluids, grease 5th wheel, everything. Its a 12.7 series 60.
Speedco charged me $312 and it took 25 minutes in and out. Just oil change nothing else.Dave_in_AZ and Oldironfan Thank this. -
Ten gallons of oil in the truck fuel tanks at one time is a good bit, percentage wise. That was done a lot years back but injectors were cheap and had large ports. Some modern engines operate at over 20,000 PSI rail pressure and can inject fuel up to ten times each time a cylinder fires. Tolerances are very close and and a set of injectors installed can run over $4,000.00. I thank that can be an expensive way to save money.Tug Toy, Dave_in_AZ and Bean Jr. Thank this. -
