Talk about getting your chain yanked! This morning going up 287 in NJ a door slammers passes me and calls me over the can and tells me I should pull over. A couple chains are loose on my load of 2 tracks for a digging rig. I pulled over at a planned rest stop for my 30 and check the chains. All were tight , the dude was yanking my chain.

My week next week is going to be load in Tulsa deliver in Missouri, dead head back to Tulsa rinse and repeat. Good rate to. Rates in Tulsa area definitely a lot better than OK City. Different Agent.

So i've been calling around my Clutch "Brake" is going out.. Its taking a lot to get her in gear now. So i called a shop in MI everyone seems to be right around the same Price 1800-2k For a 2050 torque clutch. Couple guys said just replace the clutch brake but i think with 900k might be worth it just to replace the clutch. They are also gonna use an updated one to stop the in cab noise from the clutch. It makes like a rattling(metal sound in the clutch peddle but if u put pressure it stops) Seems the clutch needs some type of vibration damper spring or something like that.

I don't know if that's the shop in Grand Rapids area but I would check the reviews if it is. Lots of bad reviews.

    He was, literally.

He really wanted you to pull over to make sure he could get a parking spot up the road.

Pete, I had the clutch brake replaced on my truck a few months after I first leased it. It was done without pulling the transmission. They cut the old one out with an air chisel through the inspection plate hole and replaced it with one that looked like a circle split in half with a rivet on one side and a bolt hole to lock the other side together. Its still as good as new over 500k miles later.

The shifter noise might be the detent springs in the shift tower. Pull the shifter to the left until you feel some resistance and if you can go up to reverse without much side movement the springs are collapsed. They can be easily changed by pulling the shifter off from inside the truck.

I Thought about that too but in last 6 months i've just had a weird issue maybe 4 times? So its a rare issue but when going into a higher gear ill shift then the truck acts like its not in a gear just revs up. If i press the clutch in a little it fixes itself. I Asked 2 shops what that is they said its the clutch slipping. The rattling is from the peddle itself. Its a known issue with these 9400I they used a updated clutch to fix that noise lol.

Floating or double clutching? If double clutching (or a " hybrid" of bumping the clutch out of gear and floating in the next) I'd definitely be looking at a new clutch. Sorry, I misread the part about the rattle. Check the crosstube from the pedal to the release bearing fork. It has a grease fitting that most lube, oil and filter drones know nothing about.
