Yeah.. that's one of the "good" things about driving at night.... you can make all kinds of "crazy" things and nobody will see... :biggrin_25512::biggrin_2559:
Anyway... that stupid mistake of mine.. psss me off... :angry5: I should know better... after all, I spend sometimes hrs checking routes, double checking routes and stops and locations and better routes and neighborhoods and stuff so not to get lost and save time... but then, miss one freakin exit because I wasn't in the right lane  and end up following stupid Peoplenet Navigator that will send me thru the shortest route but not the easiest and most practical and fastest route... :biggrin_1square8:
My personal GPS which is not even for a semi but a small truck gave me the best route... which I should have followed and would have saved me A LOT of aggravations and time... but NOPE... I chose Peoplenet Navigator and that's how I got totally messed up in downtown New Brunswick NJ.... :angry1:

And next week....?? :biggrin_1square1: What about starting with a load from GA to MA?? :angry4: I HATE that route... I-95.... again...? :biggrin_25521: I may go extra miles to avoid that freakin George Washington Bridge in NY.... even if dispatcher doesn't pay... I don't care.. whatever I can do to avoid that nightmare I will...

I think the best time to make it across the GWB is between the hours of 2:16 and 2:28 AM. Otherwise it’s the world’s largest parking lot. :biggrin_2552:

Yeah... unfortunately, according to my rough very rough calculation, if I take that bridge, I may end up going thru there sometime between noon and 2 pm... Not a good time... at all... :biggrin_25512:
If I take the long route, via I-287 and Tappan Zee Bridge, I may encounter lots of traffic as well but not as bad... but that will add about 42 miles to this trip... :biggrin_2552: Will think about it..

There was massive rain yesterday in VA... and this morning torrential rain + strong winds... but here at the border of SC and GA is just gorgeous sunny and hot day!
Got a good parking spot right in front of the fuel bays so I can fuel tomorrow before leaving....

If time works out to about the same between the 2 routes. the difference is 42 miles of fuel or 6 to 7 gallons. $20 in fuel is pretty cheap to help a driver keep her sanity. If the office can't handle that cost as part of "driver retention" it may be appropriate to add that to the list of reasons to consider looking else were for employment.

I'm a curmudgeon (to put it lightly) about that kinda stuff though.
