You get the guy a load to NC. He cleans out his truck, and his wife gets off the truck. You then get the guy a load going back to wherever you want the truck dropped off it. Hes still and employee untill he turns in the keys. He turns in the keys he goes home and thr company keeps making $ and everyone is happy. Its not fn hard

If you want to bash them, bash them for not getting the guy and his wife to coon rapids when they said they would do so. I'll give you that. That's a broken promise.
Everything else the driver brought upon himself with poor planning unfortunately. Should have never put himself in this situation. -
That scenario is ridiculous. An ex employee isn’t insured anymore , never mind the wife . He should’ve taken the bus ticket , it was generous . I had a team taxicab my truck from South Carolina to Vegas because the female needed to make a court date . She let me know about this on a Thursday . Her court date was Monday . I called CH and booked a Dollar General load picking up 200 miles away on Friday , delivering in Saint George Utah the following Thursday . She could have made the court date, took a few days off and then delivered the load . They refused and dead headed back to Vegas , leaving the tanks bone dry in a sketchy neighborhood. I had to recover it myself and I handed her a money order for a grand , what I owed her on revenue . I made it to the Cheyenne exit and it ran out of fuel . That was a nightmare .

My cult comparison has never been more accurate. When he was in lock step with the membership singing "Oh how I love Magnum....oh how I love Magnum...because they first loved me" he was doing fine, but the koolaid started tasting funny and he started seeing the side of the company I saw (and the side I posted about), and the next thing you know, he was ostracized and shunned...Last edited: Jul 26, 2018
Woobie, Bumper, 28 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Anyone reading this and who thinking of leaving is now putting their needs first and Magnum’s second which is the real problem. Some - yeah he could have left his wife at home, darn jerk actually putting his spouse first and honoring his marriage vows, why would any fool do that.
A successful corporation can book reasonable car rental deals that individuals can’t, again you have a driver who is not abandoning the truck, giving notice which you are not required by law to do, and taking the truck to the more desired yard, help the driver out...but it’s interesting reading everyone’s opinions, so what’s the next topic to chew on...mattbh23 and runningman0661 Thank this. -
That whole post by snack bar was pretty dramatic I felt it was Oscar winning

I Wonder if there lanes are changing.
I have not been offered a load to NC in about 6 months. Only been to NC once in 6 or 7 months and that was a brokered load from AtlantaBumper Thanks this. -
