Central Transport pay and sign on bonus questions

If you have to offer a $10,000 sign-on bonus to get drivers, that should tell you something...

 

Pays every two weeks . By hand check . No direct deposit . Old equipment . Crap management and dock in salt lake . If you have payroll or management issues there is no way to get a hold of them on the phone in corporate. Worked for them for two weeks in salt lake . You’ll be on the extra board which is fine but you may not work a lot when it slows down until you get a bid.

 

RUN FAR AWAY from this company, crap equipment, crap insurance and crap management.

Company has no direct deposit. Sounds fishy to me. I’d got to YRC/New Penn or R&L over them. If your talking lower players in LTL.

 

Around me they have decent equipment and thr pay starts at 24.50 to start. However that's the first time I'm seeing LTL company offering sign on bonus

 

Saia offers 2k in my area.

 

They only sign on bonus I got was mandatory 2 hrs of overtime at freight.
