Home 20 for the week ? 5 Whirlwind Tours back to back to back is what the boss wants to see here. Will see what the the doc in the smock tells me on Tuesday. I hope this ain't a "normal" reading cause I don't feel so hot at the moment. If I'm under the numbers that are "normal" on the chart, then I'll have some room for hope. Waiting for Tuesday is gonna seem like an eternity.

Were you referring to the parking lot at Big Cabin truck stop? I was there several weeks ago and posted a picture of the place here.... I noticed the lot was reduced quite a bit... as I walked around.... What used to be a dirt lot with lots and lots of spaces for trucks now is reduced to half looks like and there's a fence and big rocks...
On a separate note, there's a new Pilot called Pilot Express in Fort Worth... right in the middle of lots and lots of warehouses... on Trinity Blvd... it doesn't show on Google satellite yet... I may check it out on Tuesday... the lot is pretty small though.... I bet it has room for a few trucks and it must be totally congested and tight... not a place I would like to park....

 

And sometimes things don't happen the way I would wish...
Yesterday was a super busy day... rush rush... Salt Lake City traffic jam... U-turns inside malls parking lots.. and stopping traffic from 4 ways in a busy boulevard so I could make a turn... and a truck governed at 65 mph.... and ended up parking at a rest area on US-6 UT... where I decided would NOT reset there...
Needed a shower and buy milk, etc, etc..
So... couldn't reset this weekend... Drove 2 hrs today cause I had only 3 available... and now will have to sleep some... even though I slept for over 8 hrs last night... But will AGAIN drive all night... and ALL NIGHT tomorrow AGAIN.... and will keep recycling my hrs this coming week....

ON A HAPPY NOTE... I believe my company is making changes on their trucks... moving the speed to 68 mph on the cruise and keep 65 on the pedal + the PassSmart thing that can be helpful...

 

And again... saw another 4 wheeler parked on the truck parking area at the rest area this morning... that really pssss me off...


Well... left a NOTE on the 4 wheeler windshield.... telling to next time go park where CARS park and not take the valuable space of a big truck... Big trucks cannot park anywhere they want... and big trucks don't have many places to park and big trucks have to obey federal hours of service regulations and are forced to park when the time is up.... I hope that 4 wheeler will think twice next time and leave truck parking alone... Who knows...

Just chilling and waiting for Tuesday. Trying to catch an old friend too. Got a last second dropout from the guy that was supposed to go with the guy who I just spent the last two weeks with on our Lap of America tours, so he is running a solo this Lap. It would have been easier on me to just hop on board and do another Lap but I really want to see the doctor this time. So I dragged my stuff out of the Truck and got out of his way. The rest will be enjoyed for sure.
