Uh... Friday midnight is cutoff so I think his 1700 would be for 3 days so far.
Might be just me but I try not to get hung up on comparing miles. It’s going to vary for a lot of reasons, but should work out over the long haul ;)
    There’s currently plenty of freight.

Since my bills come in monthly, I concentrate on the monthly average rather than weekly

Crete wants to charge 150.00 for load locks?? Then you get reimbursement. But what if you drop a trailer with a seal on it, there goes your deposit. ???

You don’t pay for load locks, you pay pay for the enforcer lock to secure the trailer doors and a kingpin lock.

“You will be issued a King Pin, Rear Door, Air Brake and Load Locks in Orientation. There will be a deposit of $145-$190 “

Please explain. Are there any other out of pocket fees this company will put on the driver??
I’m concerned. I’ve been driving for 17 yrs and never heard such a thing. Ty

You may have the option of getting used locks. Might be cheaper.

Where is your orientation? You may be sent in a rental to get your truck. Rooms and gas provided, and you'll be paid for the trip. Just depends on where trucks are. It may delay you getting a load for a couple days. Not a biggie but when I went thru orientation threw some guys for a loop.

I've always had the air brake lock and load locks specifically assigned to the truck. When I got a different truck, those stayed with that truck and I got new ones with the new truck. The kingpin and rear door locks were what I paid for at orientation. I guess the theory is, if you paid for them, you wouldn't leave the enforcer lock on the trailer when you dropped the trailer at consignee, if you would have to then buy a new one.
