Yep. Bleeders. Out of all Americans, Bleeders get screwed the hardest by politicians.
You hear about all the shooting deaths in Chicago all the time. And the Bleeders will tell you that “IF you’d outlaw all guns, things like this wouldn’t happen.”
Bleeders, I present to you CHICAGO! Sanctuary city for criminals and thugs and murderers. Where decent people who followed the laws banning guns cannot defend themselves or their families and are sitting ducks for any and every lowlife around. The people who live in areas like this should handle crime the best way they see fit and just call the cops when it’s over.
But no, in typical bleeder fashion, they look for more legislation. Haven’t you figured out that the laws are written for criminals by criminals for the continued advancement of criminal activity?

That's way I put that in. It's to ease the feelings of those with thin skins.
Chicago has bigger problems than pilfering a few boxes. And frankly it's seriously embarrassing how much of a failed city they have become. I'm happy not to deal with them again.buddyd157 and BoostedTeg Thank this. -
The problem with people handling crime is that the laws still exist to ban that sort of behavior. Certainly, self defense is still legal, if you can legally possess the tools for it, but any sort of revenge/vigilantism is illegal, and in many cases the police will prosecute those crimes, as they tend to fall into the more serious crime category.
More importantly, the legal system makes punishments against generally law abiding citizens more severe than for career criminals. If you or I got caught carrying a firearm illegally, (I'm assuming you don't already have a criminal record) it could cost us our jobs, or at least future job prospects. For the career criminal most of these penalties mean perhaps a short stint in jail, and adding to an already lengthy criminal record. They don't care about job prospects and often take pride in their criminal record. Even if they spend a year in prison and I got probation, it would still hurt my ability to provide for my family more so than them. -
Actually this is one way that the police solve larger crimes.
So if they catch someone breaking into containers at a rail yard who's on drugs, where is he getting the drugs?
From the gangs and from other bad people. Okay, cooperate with us give us some information and we'll be easy on you.
You go after the small fish to know who the big fish are and then you work your way in.
On top of that, the more that they steal out of those containers the higher everybody pays for everything.
If they didn't have to compensate for stealing, security, lawyers, and surveillance and everything else, even Walmart would have much lower prices.JonJon78 Thanks this. -
No revenge. No vigilantes. Store robbery? Deal with it. Home invasion? Deal with it. Stolen car? Deal with it. Drive by shooting got your kid? Deal with it. Call the cops when it’s done. By the way, no guns allowed. Everyone play nice, okay?
In less than a week, they would figure out the root problem. Everything would point to their elected officials as the source of their problems. None that of the laws benefit the law abiding citizen, they all benefit the criminals. Think about it...the person invading your house has a gun, but you the homeowner don’t.
Or, a guy steals your car. He gets caught by the cops, he gets a slap on the hand and probation. You catch him in the act and whip his arse, you get sued and he gets everything you own. And the Bleeders will tell you that he didn’t mean you any physical harm. They’re absolutely right. Insurance money isn’t enough to get another car. You’re going to have to dig in your pockets and buy another one. And so you struggle with going to work, struggle to get extra money to buy another car. “Hmmmm, I’m the one that got my car stolen. Why did I get punished? I know why...I’m a law abiding citizen living in Chicago! I need to write my legislator to see why the laws here favor the criminal element.”
I have no simpathy for them. If they are so stupid to continue to elect these people that are cutting their throats, they deserve whatever happens to them. -
At what point did catching thieves become a bad thing for the police to do? When did getting the criminal element off the street become a broken trust between the police and the community?
Oh that's right.... When the "community" allowed itself to glorify drug abuse, gang banging, broken homes and decided family values were irrelevant and outdated.Gearjammin' Penguin Thanks this. -
Think about this for a moment. The money to buy guns and drugs has to come from someplace. Stolen property gets sold and becomes a source of cash. This gets turned into guns and drugs. True, this is very simplistic, but it is the basic cycle. Some how you have to break the cycle. What will have the fastest response and hit at the primary source. Cut off the cash flow.Swiss Mountain Dog Thanks this.

We have to keep in mind who the mayor of Chicago is (or was, not sure if he is still in office) Obama's former chief of staff...once he was in office, various property crimes and shootings went thru the roof...but us gun totin' God fearing conservative types are the problem...yea right.

This is interesting. Could you point to sources for more information about this.

I'm not going to get political...
I'm just going to say that it's the crybaby liberal snowflake agenda.
Nobody is ever wrong nobody should ever be punished. Laws do not matter. If one person is offended the whole world should stop. He didn't really mean it. Everyone deserves a 4th 5th 6th 7th 8th 9th 10th 100th 1000 chances.
If I heard correctly, they said on the news that the gangs were targeting block parties and gatherings. They have absolutely no fear whatsoever of the police or of Retribution.
All of this as the snowflake agenda screams louder and louder, and Chicago is more like a war zone in the Middle East than an American city.
We need to be a nation of laws that are enforced, not a nation of crybabies, offended by everything, especially Law and Order.Gearjammin' Penguin Thanks this.
