tell them to go pound sand..

you did not screw up, THEY DID.

it's like when i bought my car, and traded in my pick up. in my state, we DO NOT GET sales tax credit for truck trade ins.

so the deal had been made, and we all signed the papers.

dealership called me about 2 weeks later, telling me that THEY made a mistake and as a result, THEY had to pay the sales tax difference, and i told them, "too bad for you, we got a deal, with SIGNED PAPERS"

    dealership man said.."ok, g'bye"....

now, on another note, my late dad was over paid (for some reason) by SS, and they just INSTANTLY, with drew that over payment form his savings account...

i am NOT SURE if an employer that pays by direct deposits, can also do this.....i was told by one employer, Yes they can......

but tell 'em to go pound sand all the same, it's fun to tell people off.....

I think I looked into this once and the banks and rules do not side with the individual.

You can always ignore it and let the cards fall. Let us know how that goes. How far will walmart go for $800?

Not real sure they can do anything.

I would tell them for the sake if they do take it to collections that you want a copy of these claims. What load, what was mis-paid? Just in case you end up in court.
