Where Are You Continues, Again.....

LOL... Ms. @NightWind .... thank you for letting me know that I am not the only one that talks to things.... And hey... there's a place where you may find ladies that talk about trucks... among other things.... it's called "Real Women in Trucking"... some are company drivers and others o/o like yourself...

Yeah... I know that one... but this is the Real Women in Trucking

 

I looked at it. To be honest, most of the "women" sites get on my nerves because of the hard core Women's liber attitude I've never been a women's liber. I just wanted paid the same for the same work and to get the same respect that the men get. I'd never be able to hang around a multitude of females because all of my experience has been they smile while they are stabbing you in the back, and men aren't much different. I'm actually amazed that I've been married more than once with my innate distrust of people.

 

Ohhh.... wait a minute... I do know a couple... they are both truck drivers... they used to be members in this forum... we know each other... I talk to the guy once a month or so on the phone... when I drive at night... he also drives at night... His wife is a lovely lady... and she has no problem whatsoever with her husband and I talking on the phone... we have met once... and they invited me to spend Christmas in their house.... hopefully that will happen... Shall see.

 

I'll be commenting on you folks postings but preparing my dish now... haven't had lunch yet and I'm just STARVING!!!

But what I meant is that what we do here, which is an exchange of a few words on each other's screen is not really a friendship. Not a real constant interaction in person, and/or on the phone with each other.
The couple I was referring to in my previous posting, for instance, we "met" each other in this site a few years ago and then became "friends". We talk constantly on the phone, we met in person, they have invited me numerous times to visit them and hopefully that will happen soon...
