And Schneider will force him to sign another one as a condition of that buyout.

I know drivers who had to wait 9 days in hotels while their Maxforce regen systems were rebuilt. Hotel + layover, which I believe was 60, per day.

I DO NOT LIKE THIS COMPANY AT ALL. My husband has been left in a truck waiting for the second time on someone to come off home time. What type of company does things like this. He is a driver as much as anyone else. The he is waiting for finnish the course after him and still they make him wait. Outside of that they cant get the loads right. everything they get is messed up some how. This company is a one star with the BBB graded at C-. If he shows good reason to leave will they still take him to court.

There are other options. A lot of different companies will pay off student debt for a driver if they believe the driver will be a keeper.

Part of this hinges with how one leaves the company you are currently at though.

If you simply quit with no notice, or, even worse, if you abandon the truck somewhere, that new company that might have bought your contract debt, will wonder if you will do the same to them.

You will have to agree to pay the new company back, almost certainly. They will also, almost certainly, want you to sign a contract saying you will pay them back for paying off your debt to the other company.

So, my suggestion: Talk to other companies. Tell them you are unhappy with where you are and see if they have a program to buy out CDL school debt. If they do, ask them how they want you to leave your current company, and follow their instructions.

They will have an order in which they want you to do things. The first step will likely be filling out an application, to make sure you qualify to drive with them. After that, they will likely want you to give notice to your current company, so the new company has time to arrange for juggling the CDL school repayment and your hiring.

    Good Luck.

He needs a better dispatcher. I’ve had problems in the company but I did have a good dispatcher. If he couldn’t find you a team you’d run solo until he could get you one. Never had to do a 34 since he would get loads according to how much time I had left on my 70.

I don’t know if you could ask for a specific dm but see if he could ask for “Ken” from fleet “D-2” just don’t piss him off and he’ll keep you moving. Do not I repeat DO NOT deny any loads from him he gets really mad about that. If he does give you a NYC load he makes sure they’re a “get there when you get there” kind of load.

Also to your question. Yes they will send his contract to collections and they’ll keep calling. This will start the very first day they consider him a run away. Just finish the thing and then run.
