Why should I have to show my pay stubs? What does that prove?

That your really are a company driver and
Not a office dork protecting the company.
Since you came out of the blue with your
    4 post total,to defend them,were skeptical of
Any new person who only shows up to defend
    Some random company.

    That's all it is.
The op claimed they no longer have company drivers.
    You said you are one.
    That's what prove I means.
    Nothing personal.
The rest of us would like to know too.

I didn’t come out and defend the company. I never said that what his experience was wrong. I was just saying that the part of they don’t hire company is the wrong information. That’s it. If he had a bad experience with hirschbach then fine. I’m not defending the company for what they did. It’s one of the reasons why I didn’t do l/p with them.

Let me clarify some things for everyone. I do not drive for them I repeat I do not drive for them but I have driven for the up till a year ago. I do know they do hire company drivers as well as lease drivers. I know they mostly hire lease drivers but they do hire company drivers for dedicated accounts as well as OTR drivers if you live in certain areas. They don’t advertise company drivers but if u ask about becoming one they will hire u on as a company driver of u meet the requirements. I am not a office employee or anything for this company. I my spouse however does work for the company and is in management there and is involved in the day to day operations of lease and company drivers. So I can tell you with out a doubt that they do hire company drivers. I can also tell u from experience that they are like any other trucking company they have there ######## just like the rest of them. If you go there and plan on buying a truck from them through there lease purchase program good luck. There lease is 3 years with a 80k balloon payment. I do personally know of 2 people who have actually purchased there trucks from them and still currently have them on with Hirschbach right now. But they were making double payments every week just different things in order to buy the truck. The average person by no means will ever buy a truck through them and they know that. As far as they starve u out as u get close to completing your lease is not true at all. There is more to that drivers story then he is letting on. At the end of ur lease you have the option of taking your lease completion bonus and moving on to another company or u can take that bonus keep it sign another 3 year lease on a new truck and do it all over again. Hirschbach is a good company to drive for. I always tell people the same thing they have there ######## but the money is really good and they take care of there drivers that u tend to over look a lot of the ######## u would normally complain about. They have great equipment if u are willing to run they will get u the miles u want. It’s all in how u play the game. If u aren’t brining home at least 1500 to 1600 after all expenses as a lease guy u are doing something very wrong. Company guys I know bring home 1100 to 1300 a week depending on what account u are on. I know for a fact they have any dedicated accounts that pay very well. The account I was on payed guarantee 1250 a week plus home every weekend. It is nothing for the owner brad to get into a truck a drive and deliver loads himself to get out there and see exactly what the drivers are in need of and how the industry is changing. Again they have ######## and are by no means perfect but they are one of the better companies out there to drive for.

I’d like to clarify that I’m not interested in being a lease, or company, driver with them.

I submit the following affidavit as proof:

I The Count, I mean Frank (honest, that’s what I meant), do hereby certify that I witnessed myself, while in bat form, acknowledging that I am not interested in driving for this company either as a lease, nor company, driver.

A lot of those megas offer leases that can be cancelled at will by the company. No reason necessary. Swift's leases were like that when I was there.

Every hauler like that has to have at least a few employee drivers, if for nothing else other than to shag loads around town and to take care of the accounts and maybe run some dedicated regional stuff.
