My wife doesn’t really care about me. She cares about our kids. I share very little with her unless I am running behind. The longer I live, the more I think I would prefer living by myself, doing my own thing. Feminism ruined current generations of women, might as well be men.
The daycare I pick my kids up from is a prime example. 90% don’t care about their appearance, no makeup, poorly dressed. The ones who stand out actually act like women, dress nicely, fix their hair, wear makeup. They are 10% or less.

in the future words of wisdom will not be preceded by "Confucious says" but "@TripleSix says"
Watch out Confucious...he's coming for your crown.
Words of wisdom, shame the majority will hear/read your words but not listen/comprehend them.
Sirscrapntruckalot - Dear mom, today at the truck stop I ate all my veggies.dunchues, Crusader66, TripleSix and 1 other person Thank this. -
The gals/guys in the relationships that make it work don’t need the advice.
The gals/guys in relationships that can’t make it work, the advice won’t help them.
It’s that old statement: if you have to ask, you won’t understand.
Good on @TripleSix for laying out some real world advice advice.
When “men are from mars..” came out a girl I had been dating thought I should read it. Kinda proud to say I broke up with girl instead of reading a book. LOL. And I love to read.Gearjammin' Penguin, sawmill, jamespmack and 6 others Thank this. -
I must have lucked out. I found a woman that not only supports what I do but loves me for who I am.

My wife team drove with me for about four months, then quit.
But she knows enough about trucking that she still wants to hear the daily details.
Works for us. 24 years.Oxbow, snowman_w900, jamespmack and 7 others Thank this. -

She admitted that in her previous marriage to a driver, she didn’t think the job was that difficult - until she did it herself.
I feel sorry for the guys that get the “Well all you do is sit on yer behind all day while I have to . . . “
I NEVER recommend this job to guys with younger kiddies at home. You’ll miss WAY too much.Paddlewagon, Gearjammin' Penguin, wore out and 13 others Thank this. -
My wife knows where I work, that's about it. I don't think she really knows what I do and if I was to explain any of the issues I have while at work she wouldn't understand anyway, but I on the other hand know EVERYTHING that goes on at her job every day whether I want to hear it or not and most of the time it's not, LMAO!Last edited: Sep 28, 2018

Married 18 yrs. Six is absolutely spot on. We've all probably seen some nutless wonder that feels the need to vent on his poor wife or g/f, or whowhatchamacallit these days. Heaven forbid they man up and do something to make their situation better... No they will just ##### and moan about it. They probably want their wife/mommy to make it better.
One thing I will add, that has helped us, is that we never lie or hide anything. We don't tell each other everything, but we're honest if asked and with what we do discuss. We talked about this years ago, and decided we're better knowing the truth and resolving any issues, than trying to hide something or act like there's no problem.
As the years tick away, our marriage gets stronger and happier. I think trust has a lot to do with it. -
