So, after a 16 hour drive by to pickup my stuff at home, left my hometown truck stop at 5am for an 8am at Petco in a Durham NC mall. Never delivered to a mall before. My dispatcher told me I could deliver at 10am, but the BOL showed an 8am. I show up at 730 and am second in line after leapfrogging a Crete driver who was still sleeping. They unloaded us from the street which infuriated a U.S. Food Driver who had to wait until I got unloaded so he could deliver to a deli next door to the Petco. He was cussing a storm and I felt for the poor guy but thought, I would not want the stress of local delivery. Done at 9am got my bills. David had me take my empty to Mars Iams pet food (Henderson NC) and drop it and bobtail down to pickup a repaired trailer in Calhoun GA. So finishing my break here at a rest area in Anderson SC to go after my empty, head to Fairburn GA pickup 45k of dog food headed to the Wal-Mart DC in Alachua FL for halloween. Miss my Oingo Boingo CD! Good times.with my new company! Can't get the onboard scanner to work. Might have to call headquarters to see if they can set me up with the app. Need to get paid!

When u plug the scanner into the Qualcomm and go to the scanner screen is it showing that it’s detecting the scanner? It should say docketPort 468, if it isn’t it’s not detecting the connection. I had to actually plug mine into the main box under the bunk. It’s the third plug from the bottom left.

Will the Q/C accept a regular usb printer? It runs Windows mobile, it might have built in drivers for some of the newer printers. We had those mobile scanners at Big G(no printing equipment), mine always had a black line down the left hand side about 2 or 3 inches in the scanned area.

It should. We had scanners and printers when i was at ats. Used it to print out permits for od loads. I dont use the scanner here. Last time i did, it scanned ok on my end but payroll got a black page. Been using the transflo app ever since with no problems.

Yeah, gonna give the app a go! Not fond of scanners. Or just use at a truck stop! Made my delivery of dog food to the Wal-Mart DC in Alachua TO at 10am. Nicest folks have ever met. Had a wounded trailer of ours with a busted gladhand due to a forgetful yard jockey not unhooking. Took photos for Shane in maintenance so it could be fixed and reloaded. Left Alachua with pallets. A good looking lady at the guard shack asks me if "I got wood?" I said "that's a loaded question."

So, I took off, drove my wood to Cordele GA Peelot and shut down early. Bumping my 70 and only get back 5 hours each the next couple of days and didn't want to face ATL afternoon rush. Dropping load at our Dalton GA yard and picking up a load going to Four Oaks, NC for Friday and then home to Plymouth for the weekend, back to Four Oaks Sunday for a load to McDonough GA for a 6am on Monday. Love the preplanning, here. The communication here is excellent!! An excellent first week here.
