Agreed. But starting out they should realize their first check will be three weeks in.

And the only reason I mention it is the thread title. We do not do weekly pay.

    Bossman027 and MilkyJay Thank this.

Most DCs are running all approved programs.

I would imagine that the why for pay every two weeks is because that's company wide.

I'll take whatever I'm allowed to get and be happy to start. LOL I Don't mind running nights if they have it, and I would think the 6/3 would be a good one to be on. Or am I wrong thinking that?

Starting out you are 99% guaranteed to be extra board. That will be a 5 day schedule. 5.5 days a week through peak (now until Jan.). Probably be a Thursday or Friday out.

Only night shift openings are at HVDCs we have domiciled drivers at. You are going to Sutherland right? You will be like an 8-10 am gate time.

    Bossman027 Thanks this.

Yes sir. I know I'll be extra. I just was asking for when runs become available if the 6-3 was a good one. Thanks

Only way you run nights at a gm dc is an exemption run. Sutherland has the pups they run to dc just like gordonsville. I think they start at 2200. But no chance of getting that starting off. You'll make the most on a 5/2 schedule but most like that 3rd day off on either a 6/3 or 5/2 5/3 schedule.

    06driver and Bossman027 Thank this.

I just want to make the most I can starting out. Doing what is needed, and just keeping my head down and earning my stripes.

5/2-5/3 and 6/3 are less day of work per pay period. They are identical for the yearly total. 5/2 full time or extra are the most money opportunities. Most amount of days worked per pay period and year.
