    My husband worked for Schneider and had a perfect record and never missed one day of work. So when he called his boss in Marysville yesterday to give his two week notice they said nothing except the door is always open. He finished for the day and stopped at the OC in Onetz and Steve called him in the office and proceeded to tell him since he gave his two week notice he was now terminated and would not receive his three weeks of earned vacation time. Schneider has a dedicated HONDA account which he ran for eight years so at the shut down which started Friday that’s why he gave his notice . My husband got tired of being buckled and dimed and losing money because a run was cancelled. So for those wondering my husband is an excellent driver and always has been .I only wanted to let others know what really can happen to good hard working people.

    If your husband has been driving for 8 years and still didn’t know you should never give ANY notice to trucking companies, then he’s either very naive, or his elevator is stuck in the basement.
