Passing at slow speeds etiquette?

If you can't keep a consistent speed and won't let others pass you, you're an #######. I tend not to get too mad solely at the passing driver . . . just my opinion

 

I always get fed x trying to pass me. They at .5 mph faster than me. I will not slow down for them. Takes them 20 miles or more to pass.

 

let em go dude. he's got that 5 on you regardless just let him have it! don't be that guy helping hold the rest of traffic up

 

You can't let off the gas for 5 and half seconds to let someone around, then get back to your 65 MPH? Your not going to get where your going any faster by keeping said truck on the side of you for 6 miles. Just cause a backup.

 

It depends on how much traffic is affected behind us. If a lot of cars or other trucks fill in behind me, I'll slow down and let the other guy go ahead.

Or if I'm the guy trying to pass and it's just not happening becase of the hills, I'll back off from the attempted pass if it's backing up traffic while I have my turn signal on indicated what my intention is.

If there isn't much traffic behind, I'll see if I can pass over 20 minutes lol.

 

I’ve had people driving with their egos.
I start passing. They speed up and sit next to me on the inside lane. Then I look bad. If I give up passing. They slow down 5mph.

 

And if it takes them 20 or 30 miles to pass than they shouodnt be passing. They not gaining time by doing so.

 

So you control the road and what other people do? Got it.
