Well if you do shuttle run, you will drive let say 105 miles to the next hub work the dock for few hours and come back.

 

Is it true that if you don't meet a certain mileage goal, they pay you by the hour and not the mile?

 

Hmm not sure about that. I'm mostly doing city now. Maybe @Gearjammin' Penguin can answer that

 

Someone else said that on here . It sounded off to me as well. So I had to ask

 

I know that we get paid for any delay or when waiting for the meet driver to show up. Also drop, hook and fuel is paid as well. Not sure about the not enough miles pay though.

 

I've never heard of that--linehaul is miles + accessory and everything else is straight hourly, AFAIK.
