Parked for a reset at Flying J, Ft Chiswell VA. Took off from Wapakeneta TA around midnight to beat the snow moving in. Windy as all get out around the tunnels on I77. Just rain right now but flash freeze tonight and very cold...for here...tomorrow. at 1615, still alot of parking here. Who knows what north of here will look like with PA closed to trucks. Here til early Monday morning, then del in Charlotte and picking up cross town then headed through the house for truck stuff on my way back up to Fargo, doncha know! Stay safe wherever you're at!

 

I don’t see why not, they hire straight out of CDL schools. I’m guessing you would have to go out with trainer, They might be concerned with backing skills since you don’t have that experience.

 

Turns out not so bad. I got called a little while ago with a new load. I pick up right by where I’m at tomorrow afternoon, deliver to a Walmart in Southern MN Monday afternoon. And they said I’d get a day of layover pay too.

I can be cool with that.

 

That goes a long way to being successful at Magnum...

 

49 here in Ft Chiswell VA with the temps dropping and winds picking up. I could go down the hill toward Charlotte but need the reset. Wish I could've made Brintle's but this is as far as my hours would go. Hope everyone is parked safe and warm.

 

I'm down the road a ways in Moore's Church Hill, TN yard(Kingsport), went to bed it was 52, woke up it was 30. And tonight's low is suppose to be 15.

 

It’s a whopping 5 degrees here in MI this morning.

 

I don’t know what all the whining is about on heat and APU? It’s 1below zero out. My heat through APU is just fine?

 

Ya' gotta get out of the truck at some point...besides, it's not whining, it's an in the spot weather report.

 

I’m talking about all the opinions of APU not cutting it on heat when it gets cold. Have to idle the truck? Not weather reports.
