Here's the thing. Out here in trucker world today, it's monkey see, monkey do. One driver parks along a red curb, another driver will be along in 30 minutes who then thinks it's okay to park up alongside him. Next thing you know one or both ingress and/or egress is literal blocked from allowing a truck to turn and maneuver around from a given aisle. Then emergency vehicles can't enter a a timely manner in the event of an emergency.
Fires happen in trucks all the time. If you must park in a spot it is going to be difficult or impossible for other trucks or emergency vehicles to maneuver around you, DON'T PARK THERE. Take your violation and go somewhere else It won't be the "end of the world". You know it's going to be a problem parking late, so you have to be prepared to do the right thing and not make others pay for your choices and your situation. But I realize this problem will always persist, and will only get worse.

Fj Carneys point nj is horrible for this... probably 1/3 open legit spots open, trucks parked along the driveway or beside the scale along the curb... it never fails... park it in a spot!!!!!!
If you must park stupid because the lot is full then wake up at like 4 am and move it to a spot.
I don't know how some people sleep when parked in a make your own spot.
Knock on door and ask nicely for the next dummy to move.Trucker61016, Lepton1, Highway Sailor and 1 other person Thank this. -
i look at like this, on that truck is just all the stuff i buy and consume to make me happy in my pathetic little meaningless existence, its kinda like karma, what is on those trucks that block you in that you use? so then the only logical solution would be to consume less. look at the amish, are they complainig about getting blocked in? just the results of over population and mass consumption, just have some more kids and teach them to be mass consumers and wonder why the trkstops and hwys are so crowded, makes sense, sure. lol

God knows I write badly as it is. -
In a recent survey where identical questions were given to drivers and management of trucking companies, drivers listed parking as their 3rd biggest concern, management listed as #9.
Pay by the way was number 1 with drivers, # 12 with management.
Any questions?stwik, InTooDeep, Farmerbob1 and 2 others Thank this. -

I agree
Isn't it crazy? Good example of location, location, location. Try to park up at exit 18 or 19 whatever it is at the ta.... good luck with that.
