There were not any actual spots left and I certainly would not block another truck in. -

Won’t wake up?
Start popping air lines and fifth wheel release.
Snap hood latches.
Start on sidebox doors.
Have Sheriffs Department on the line.
Loudly.
Wake up is guaranteed.
They started it. So finish it. (Polish up that ballpeen hammer).
I start early and stop early (mostly). And try to park where I can’t be blocked. And I ain’t about to be patient with someone too stupid, lazy AND inconsiderate in doing this job.
It’s late, I don’t go into truckstops or rest areas. Find something else and then move it it after 0500 on personal conveyance.
(Can’t it move that way? Get a real truck job).
This job ain’t rocket science. The excuse of “others were doing it” went out in kindiegarten. Unless they’re from €£%^hole countries.
(Courtesy isn’t optional. It’s first consideration when operating a big truck. Notice any patterns between those who block others AND are inconsiderate drivers while underway? It’s an almost one to one relationship).

We all piled in at a stop on the Ohio Turnpike last Spring. Just got out and talked with who had to leave and when before bunking down.
It was like a blocked maze just walking through the parking lot that night but the next morning everything moved smoothly
I was impressed how cooperative everyone was.TripleSix Thanks this.
