That’s the one noise I could never get used to in a truck stop. I could sleep through anything else.

It wasn't the truck--the #### corn dogs got the best of my digestive system. Sorry about that.

Ran into snow last night and the night before. I shut down if it's not safe for me. 4 wheeler's start swerving and hard to see the markings on the road i figure it's time to quit and let the plows do their work.
The plan was to get to delivery (stretsboro oh) yesterday however im still 359 miles away. They have me preloaded to go 173 miles from delivery to get my pickup by end of day and head back to UT. Will see how it goes. If roads are good shouldn't be a problem.

Upinsmoke, Vic Firth and Lonesome Thank this.

Are they pretty strict on the 2 plus years experience requirement?

BiggRed Survives the sub zero weather without a glitch.
Made delivery in Salt Lake and now on my next load heading back to Ohio.
While at the yard they pulled me in for service on the truck. So that's cool. Done and out of the way!

    Trucking on!!

Upinsmoke, Vic Firth and Lonesome Thank this.

FYI, Shipex does not want us putting anti freeze fuel gel in their trucks so just to be sure i called maintenance before hitting the -30 weather and they also called me. They said keep your tanks full ,park in between trucks, idle the truck and try to park at a truck stop with a garage just encase. Which was my plan anyway.

Those couple of days in below zero temps trucks were broke down on the side of the road every 5 to 10 miles it seemed. Epidemic! I heard guys that even used the anti freeze gel having problems. Who knows. I never was a fan of additives anyway because it's not usually recommended by the manufacturers.

I have a new truck so i wasn't to concerned but still taking precautions and always stay stocked up on food, water and keep a grab bag handy just encase i gotta pack quickly and get out of the truck.

Upinsmoke, mattbh23 and Vic Firth Thank this.
