Sounds to me like they should share in any blame. If you're a good driver they're not going to fire you, good drivers don't come easy.I still say the cop was a d!©]<.

I'm guessing that's what happened. I don't have a clock in my truck, I use the phone, and it has screwed me up on logs on multiple occassions., but I have caught it immediately.

I would think if you explain to a new company what happened they would likely not have a problem hiring you. Might also be able to Dataq the warnings. The log violations could have been one violation instead of 10 separate ones. Best wishes to you!

The warnings may not come with a fee penalty but as far as I know it can’t be contested by a lawer now because no citation was issued. If you don’t like the job much and have a chance to do something else I wouldn’t worry too much. Nobody outside of DOT regulated positions will give two ####s. I doubt your company will fire you either.

    Time zone change?
You stay on your home terminal time. If your on central time that’s what you log.

That's one thing. Time zones don't mean a #### thing in logging. You stay on wherever your Company HQ is at. The Policeman probably did not give you time to correct the paper log as required. (One time only, few minutes to fix a error before final citation etc)

PSP for drivers is not the same as CSA scores for carriers, you do not accumulate a "score" or multipliers. The carrier will receive CSA points and multipliers. They will likely be far more concerned with the CSA data than the PSP data.

View the PSP FAQ page here.

I'm thinking the cop was either a trainee or maybe he was having a bad day,it seems kind of petty to me.Has anyone else from your company been hassled?

You hate your current gig and want to quit. But then, the inspection happened and went south. And now, you are worried about possible termination.

If you don’t get fired, what are you going to do? Quit? If you do get fired, you’re going to try your next gig, correct? And since you were planning to quit next week, do you have the next gig lined up?
