I'll keep my tightie whitey with the Cummins motor thank you.
I was being sarcastic to Hollywood cuz all their trucks are red. Went right over your head shortie...lol.
So 29 degrees in Ft Chiswell...stop stoat the J to splash in 80 gallon and buy some cheap Virginia smoked. I nearly froze. Drove another 2 hours. Parked in Raphine 28 degrees. Walk around the truck for post trip, nearly froze.
Grab phone the check messages, it says the temp is 4....
Dashboard temp is stuck in the 20's.
Another facepalm moment.

Pretty mad . I get to sit again after this delivery to pick up at 2100 just to deliver 750 miles away giving me a whopping 1700 miles this week... Seriously why am I sitting so much this week!?!?

You did a Saturday delivery on that load still get another load this week, or is that your weekend load?
paul_4lp Thanks this. -
Supposed to be relaying here in El paso. Then I'm picking up a relay from another driver around 2100 at the yard and taking that to Boulder Colorado. Pre plan says it delivers in Boulder at 0700 on the 2nd so hopefully I can get something else before the stroke of midnight Saturday.... And for some reason my tuition reimbursement didn't pay my bank the loan payment this month and it's considered late now... Called pay roll and they have no info on me ever receiving tuition reimbursement even though they've been paying it since April of last year...
paul_4lp and RoadRooster Thank this. -
The economy has been up so long there's no place to go but down.
You've never seen a recession up close. Good time to learn patience and practice budgeting.
I went home the middle of December, came back out after new years and drove two weeks. Dropped a trailer in Calexico. The lot was packed. With empties. No pre-plan. Took three days to get to central California. Went home.
I'm not stressed and I'll come back out after the weather gets back to "normal". As a rule freight returns in march, but this year? Who knows.hollywood76, paul_4lp and RoadRooster Thank this. -
