I don't think you can go into a refinery without it

Yeah, this thread is suspect as op can't even defend his own numbers.

That's neat. Still didn't defend his numbers even when quoted.

    I've got a few updates...

Took the advice from some of the people here I respect and bought my own crude trailer. It's a 2012 Heil set up with a Garnet and Roper pump and a brand new L-K Centrifuge. I climbed all over it and could not find any cracks or dents. It had just received a new liner and had all of its inspections. It was not cheap to get started:

I paid $57K for the trailer. Insurance is going to run me $970 per year.

I had to go buy my own testing equipment. That ran me another $980 with shipping. By the way, I found a supplier I think someone on the forum mentioned them once... Channel Supplies out of Kerrville. Placed my order at 2pm and the box showed up the next day.

Also had to buy fittings. That was over $700 to get everything I needed plus a couple of duplicates since my slip seat has been known to forget things out at the lease, LOL!

Looks like I struck a nerve. I asked about your 60k in driver wages and you denied you paid that low. But keep attacking my company, my numbers are great as I'm still adding trucks. How's your single operation going?

I left the company I was with that was charging $3000 per month for the trailer. They treated us great and we made some good money together. I had been looking at bringing on another truck and trailer with them but they have changed their plans so that would not work now.

Once I got my own trailer it didn't take long to find another gig. There are several companies out there looking to hire O/O but they can't provide trailers so now I have removed that issue. I will be able to continue to slip seat this truck, run it 24hrs per day and things should remain more profitable for my operation vs bringing on more trucks.

That's a #### good looking trailer you found there! Don't look like its been abused from what I can see! I'm so used to seeing those trailers beat all to heL-L ! I can understand the low wage you mentioned, when you're in business for yourself, you don't take a decent wage because you're putting it back into paying off your company debt. The bigger wages come after you're free and clear debt wise. Good on You!

    Rockdoctor Thanks this.

Rock on ROCKDOCTOR! Good job. You give us hope in this business. LittleW has been a member since Jan 14, 2019. Not much of a positive contribution so far.
