    No they can run at night in some states, they can run at night in other states under a certain size. Banner can be on load or trailer doesn’t matter. And as mentioned sometimes they are only allowed to move at night

    I really don't care what you do.
    But it would be a cold day in hell before I trusted by life with 6 little bitty bent 3/8" bolts holding better than half a trailer load of freight on a flatbed without a head board. That is in all likelihood being pulled with a day cab job to job.

    Six 3/8ths bolts add up to a combined thickness of 2 1/4 inches. Comparable to if not stronger than your trailer kingpin; certainly stronger than the anchor points along the side of the trailer....

    A grade 5 3/8 bolt has a clamping force of 4940 lbs roughly the same as a grade 70 3/8 chain.
