One thing I can say about Farmer Bob, he knows how to take mean uppercut followed by a strong crossover LOL.

I'm still trying to figure out if that's a positive trait though ;-)

He's really kept his cool. Gotta admire that.
Usually by now an OP who's been shot at as many times as he has starts screaming and foaming at the mouth.
I hope he can keep on keeping himself together when he gets out there on the road and most of the dire predictions in this thread start coming true.

How in the world are they filling your IFTA if they can’t show you gallons purchased?
As far as fuel pricing it should be pretty simple. My NASTC app shows every fuel stop by city and state and daily pricing.

Its a common theme with these large carriers. If my carrier cam give me access to fuel cost at the touch of a button any time i want there is no reason the big guys cant. The only reason they don't set it up for their contractors to view costs is because they don't want the contractor to see they are keeping part of the fuel discount. I'd love to fuel up at the same time as this guy so i could show him my fuel cost and a wrk later when he finally gets his settlement he can see how much he paid for fuel at the same location at the same time.

Heck if he were willing to take my word for it i could look the info up for the cost at any location that advertis efs in the nation and post it here. Just in person i could bring up my efs account on my smart phone and he could see for himself exactly how much was withdrawn from my account for how many gallons.

He definately has a great attitude about it. I really do how he sees these comments(well most of them) as an attempt to help him. I also hope he isnt to proud to come here and ask for help/advice when he realises he isnt making any money on the mileage pay. We can point him to a carrier or five to increase his profit by 50% when he is ready.

Yep. I said something earlier in the thread along the lines of "he has made up is mind so all we can do is wish him well and hope he sees this for the mistake it is before its to late to correct it".

I am accurately tracking fuel costs, unless you are trying to make the argument that fuel costs are not fuel costs.

I know my mileage. I know my fuel costs. Therefore I know my fuel costs per mile.

Would it be nice if I could quickly access the fuel cost per gallon? Sure. Maybe I can, but just do not know how. Maybe I have to ask for it.

What's going to happen next is that I am going to ask you to be more polite. If you cannot be more polite, please leave the thread rather than throwing a tantrum because I am not doing exactly what you want me to.

Right now, I know that I am paying roughly 40% of my fuel costs. FSC is covering the rest. My costs are in line for success as I have defined it.

You do not get to define my goals. You do not get to make my decisions for me. If you want to offer suggestions or even constructive criticism, that's fine, I will listen. I do not guarantee that I will agree just because you said something.

In other words, "Don't confuse me with facts, I've already made up my mind?"

You may not like the advice you're getting here but most of it has been good advice.
You came here asking for opinions. You got them. If they don't agree with your pre concieved notions that's something you have to adjust to and deal with.
If you feel that you're being abused I'll lock this thread down and you can go on your way.
So far, the only enemy you have here is yourself.

Let me know what you want to do.
