Theres a handful of things that lead to immediate contract termination at mercer. Some are in the contract and some in the safety policy. We all agree to them and the consequences when we sign on at mercer.

They have a pick up that they use to go around and empty trash cans on the different lots they own at.

They also do have an older day cab they acquired a couple years ago that they use to move empty trailers around on the yard.

Then there is a couple cars and minivans and one big van.

OP,inquiring minds want to know-what did you do to get terminated? Violate company policy? PO’d a customer? Failed a random drug screen??

Otherwise no one is going to take your raving and ranting seriously.

The most dangerous loads are those that deliver to reliable family members who walk on water and therefore their word is scratched into marble and do no wrong against yours. I was 6 minutes off a north little rock delivery of paint to a company run by relatives of one employer one monday AM at 7 after running straight through the night and actually daring to stop for breakfast 24 minutes after oh... 1485 miles straight through.

You can be cruicified for burning the company logs or turning in a set of logs that are impossible unless you choose to discard the very expensive PA toll reciepts for which they damning the logs and money you will never see again. OR... you can be crucified for being 6 minutes late to a relatives company bright and early in the morning after a straight through run that violates everything in the HOS, 10, 14, 70 that week. The only way to begin to repair the damage was get a empty and sit in the truckstoo 8 days doing paperwork and math. (*Recap)

I chose the 6 minutes late. You would think I stole from Daycare centers and Counseling centers from the treatment I got. To this day I am not certain of the overall situation. But do ask one question to your Dispatcher this....

Is the company you are delivering to a relative or family friend of our company? IF they brighten up and say YES!! THEY ARE AWESOME... you Sir, have just taken on the march across the Alps and stand to lose very much until you can meet the Romans properly in battle.

I’m here on my own accord to personally vouch for Mercer. That’s right, Roy D. Mercer. He’s a fine man and, a CPA, I might add.

That’s Certified Public Arsewhooper for those not in the know.

A pine box? What, being a traditionalist again?
I figured it would be at least oak, if not some of the more exotic South American woods like purpleheart.
