says drivers average 88k 1700 a week home on weekends and hotel is provided when on the road. Is this all really true I sware they had sleeper cabs not daycabs or so they just pay for hotel anyway this is for a linehaul position I found on indeed

Closest DC is Leesport PA. No Line Haul that I'm aware of. They do have a no touch (PTP) division at (65-70K) per year. Ad is listed as LTL i.e. Tailgate delivery to stores. Many Rent-a-Centers and Big Lots stores in tight older shopping plazas as well as Mom and Pop furniture stores and logistics warehouses. Areas include PA, MD, NY, NJ, CT, MA, DE, RI, NH, Washington DC, some NJ, WV, VA, no NYC. 3-5 loads per week avg. Could work out of drop yards in Syracuse NY, Jamestown NY, Oakdale PA, Baltimore MD, Holland MA or the Leesport PA DC. Left there 3+ years ago. Was a good company when I started. At the end, was leave out Sunday afternoon/evening and get back late Friday, early Saturday morning. Rinse and Repeat. Averaged 60+ hours per week. Usually do not know what you are doing the next day until empty today or most times only when returning to Leesport or Remote Yard. Could spend day in the Washington DC area, get back to Leesport with 3+ hours of drive time left and be dispatched to Hartford CT for the morning and was expected to pre-drive. Pay has come down since I left (95K) according to friends still there. 80-90K probably close but you will earn it. Dispatch based out of Arcadia WI and has no idea about driving the Northeast. Hope this helps.atruckr and asphaltcowboy4x4 Thank this.

Are they somewhat lenient on background checks I have a few misdeamnors but hey 80k year would be swell plus the discounts. Do they really pay for hotel out on road?? And did u get home weekends as advertised? And still make 80k?
-
Don't know about the background checks. They had been very picky. Were told less than 5% of applications were approved however they have really relaxed their requirements from what I'm told. They will reimburse you for 1 hotel per week. You pay up front and have reimbursement in next weeks pay. Never had an issue with timely reimbursement. When I was there, they also allowed up to $200 per week cash advance at certain ATM's so you would not have to pay out of pocket. They did have some store discounts for company owned Ashley Home Stores however all stores in this area were franchise and did not qualify. Don't know if that changed since I left. I never spent a Saturday night on the road although I was told it has happened in rare instances. Did have guys "hung out" on the road over holidaysasphaltcowboy4x4 Thanks this.

No,it’s not true. This isn’t the company it use to be. Reimbursement for the 1 night a week hotel they pay for
Could take up to 3 weeks to get paid back. It’s up to driver to keep up on it or you lose it. 88K ? Never happen.
They take any drivers these days, the have no standards anymore. As far weekends off, lmao. You get 34 hours off and not a minute more. -
U work here?? How’s the furniture discounts? Can I buy a lot and resell on eBay to make a few bucks ?
-
Personally I wouldn’t buy their furniture anymore. It’s not quality . It’s more like 1st apartment stuff. If you’re looking at the discount to work there, you might be better off working somewhere else . You’ll never have enough time off to go look at living room sets.Dark_Majesty_06 and asphaltcowboy4x4 Thank this.

That link you posted isn't linehaul . That's the ltl position which actually involves going to the stores and touching the furniture
If you want no touch "linehaul"you need to look into their ptp division.
And I don't know what you're talking about hotel pay ? The sleeper trucks are in truckstops and rest areas just like every one else.
I know people that work there and make great money but that 34 hour reset is a killer . It ends up being 5.5 on and 1.5 off from the time you log off duty . Do some calculations especially if you have a long drive from the terminal to your home. That link does mention 44 hours off so maybe something has changed?Last edited: Feb 21, 2019
