    Close. Frank sang
" Luck be a lady tonight.
    Luck be a lady tonight.
Luck if you've ever been a lady to begin with.
Luck be a lady tonight. "

You have the tempo down pat. The rhythm is spot on. You hit all the notes. Just need a little work on the lyrics.

    Good morning Chopper !
And all the rest of you folks too !

Was loaded this morning in SC and now parked at a rest area in IN... going to MN... receiver said they can unload me tomorrow and I can take my 10 there.... :D After that, will run 460 miles empty to another place in MN for reload and head back to TN and after that... I forgot what DSP told me... :biggrin_25526: Will do one or two other loads and then head to company in OKC for that Annual banquet....
Going to bed now... y'all take care folks...

    The bad luck trainee continues.

12 hours in detention at FedEx only to have the load cancelled. Got another load right away but the trailer was buried behind a ####-storm of other trailers. Took 1.5 hours to get a hostlier to pull it free.

Get to the pilot in Hesperia, and they shut down the fuel island due to water in the tanks. I had less than an 1/8 left in the tank...that’s a story in itself. So I limp to the TA in Barstow. The digital tank gauge said I had 5 miles left.

So instead of going up the 5 and missing the storm that came through I’ll be chasing it all the way to Denver on the 70.

Sigh. He’s got like 40 hours left. I can’t wait to get him off my truck and go home to my wife and son.

It’s all good...and I’m in good spirits laughing at the situation.
