BD69: The Owner Operator Chronicles

Drove through Death Valley this afternoon.

It was... cloudy. There was this strange substance falling from the sky and making things wet.

Never seen rain in the middle of the day in Death Valley. Sprinkles at night, sure. But nothing like this. It looked like a garden variety thundershower like you might see somewhere that gets more than 2 inches of rain per year. I think Death Valley got half their yearly rain in a couple hours.

There were **PUDDLES** on the side of the interstate.

 

Williamette Valley is back to just good ole Oregon rain

 

I70 from vail to copper and both directions closed agian for Avalanche

 

Saw some signs on I-84 near Boise, ID, saying there will be a closure of I84 Westbound on 3/15. I won't be back here by then, but anyone who drives regional might want to keep an eye on it.

 

Soon to be coming BD's way.....me!! Going to someplace in SC. Is I40 in NC all cleared up?

Talked to my company about that yesterday, and they supposedly researched it and said it was open. What site are you using?

Looks like taking the detour would still be better.

 

That's what my company just told me. Their looking into alternate rts, if it doesn't add to much mileage.
