    i went on duty earlier today and did 8 hours in sleeper to stop 14 hour clock. If I run for say 4 more hours and #### down tonight and do another 8 hour sleeper does my 14 and 11 hour clock start over?

    So if I drive for couple hours then do two off. That gives me time left. Then say I have 4 hours drive time on clock an drive 3 hours the. Do 8 in sleeper. That will reset 14 and 11? Yeah

    Yup, if you make up those two hours then resume driving for another 4, you are good to do another 8 in the sleeper for a reset.

    Have a look at this article, it does a good job explaining how to do an 8/2 split.

    The only way to reset your 11/14 to to have 10 consecutive hours off duty. Or sleeper or both.

    Unless you are an owner op and absolutely need to get a bit further to make a delivery it is rarely in your favor to do a split break.
