Yup, do it at the house, wait until you're paid on all loads get any money you have in escrow accounts, then quit.

I will say this in Mercer's defense, About 4 months after I sold out, I got a check for truck ordered not used. It had been so long since I had talked to the agent about it, I had completely forgot about it.

So I stand behind what I've always said about Mercer. You will not find a more honest company than Mercer in Louisville.

If you dont mind me asking, what was your reason for leaving? If I recall you posted a picture of a new truck you bought that had Mercer lettering on it a couple weeks ago...

Had you planned on leaving Mercer anyhow but figured it would be easier to get financing on the new truck prior to leaving versus a company you just started with?

Good luck with wherever your at now.

First time ever, 2 years, she's ever put my on the side of the road....Blown turbo. Original turbo has 1.3 million miles.... I'd do it myself but I'm afraid those studs are seized up.
Shop only 20 miles away open all weekend, has great reviews, And who has a turbo under the bunk...winner winner chicken dinner

Buying the truck wouldn't have mattered where I was leased. I'm self employed with very good credit. I was actually thinking about it for awhile.

My thoughts were the agencies here are content with their current crop of customers and don't seem to want to go after new business. I understand slow season, but I have only seen regular customers on the board. As far as trying to get your own outside loads, Mercer makes it next to impossible. These aren't just my thoughts, but other drivers I have talked with are seeing the same.

Put a little heat on them and they will come right off. do NOT let them replace the nuts with run of the mill grade 8 ones. Not if you expect the truck to last through another turbo. You want 12 pt studs and nuts made for turbos or exhaust manifolds.
