    So maybe he can see a doctor that specializes in both proctology and psychology;
    The name of that doctor’s practice could be ‘Odds and Ends’.

    Yeah as far as I know, when I checked online it said “eligable to hire”. I chatted with the GTM in Raymond and he said he didn’t see any problems either so....I’m just waiting to hear from them about flight arrangements....they want me in Bentonville next Sunday to start onboarding.

    How’s your background check going? Still planning on moving up north?

    truckdriver31 Thanks this.

    I can’t stand these automatics. They’re just awful. The autos on Freightliners are the only ones I’ve driven though.

    I applied a few weeks ago over the weekend. They contacted me the very next day. But I’m kinda old. From what I hear, that’s what they’re looking for: borderline geezers with a good record and experience. ;)

    So far, I have yet to hear anything.

    I did speak with the recruiter; was told that everything is in and that there are no problems as far as my attending orientation.

    Back when I first applied, I made it clear to recruiting that I would like to give my current job a 2 week notice, which I still intend to do.
    Here’s the clincher; I will not give my current employer any notice until I hear something more definate from Walmart recruiting stating that I am definitely eligible for hire.
    No way am I quitting my current job, only to discover later, like in orientation, that some type of problem with my background has arisen.

    I am well aware of the fact that nothing is definate until I pass all the Walmart road tests etc.; that’s something totally on me however, and is not dependant upon, nor related to, any surprises from any background research on me that might be giving me any problems in the future.
    Only until I hear a definate answer, specifically, “eligible for hire and all background checks are completely finished”, will I then give my current employer a two week notice.
