I was going to try and meet you for breakfast. Decided it would be better to be safe and get some sleep myself. Next time we’ll make it.

Feedman, lovesthedrive and 062 Thank this.

    Enroute empty to the yard...

Quick stop in Low Moor, VA for a sandwich and coffee. (Slept right thru dinner again last night.)

Will get about 15 hours at home, then tentative preplan is some Chicago shenanigans....

Rocks, Feedman, MagnumaMoose and 2 others Thank this.

Kind of boring to me, but ok. I started at the hospital in Knoxville which sux in anything bigger than a daycab. Then IWC cookeville, then had both PFG’s in Lebanon, then CCP in gallatin, and finally Sysco Nashville. Then as @Rocks would say I had to “rush” to get something to eat and a nap so I could be here in Little Rock before the chickens wake up.

Rocks, homeskillet, Feedman and 3 others Thank this.

I bet you think twice next time you look at a run like that and think "yeah that's do-able."

For at least a couple weeks anyway LOL.

Just finished one of those myself. More later, but with a new driver and team capable I threw common sense out the window and took a 4 stopper with a real crappy schedule. It'll be a while before I do that again.

What made that unusual was that many stops on a Monday, and being spread out like that. If it had been around Memphis or the like it wouldn’t have been so bad. Monday,Wednesday, and Friday are the worst days to deliver to imo.

    lovesthedrive and otterinthewater Thank this.

@062 wrt to the load I had, it was more working around holiday schedules than anything. Had everything been a 24/7 operation with no holiday closures to work around, the load could have been completed a day sooner, and in a less fatigued state.

    Feedman and 062 Thank this.

Short of me winning the lottery and buying my own truck. My days of running an 18 wheeler are over. All of you can breath a sigh of relief on that.
As to the "meet for a bite", well that wont happen either. Maine isnt west coast. Since your only running out there and your name isnt Rocks. There is very little chance that I will ever be leaving the state of Maine.

Rocks, otterinthewater and 062 Thank this.
