Dogs can make an art of lounging. Like cats not all have personality. A good dog is irreplaceable, one that does the dumbest #### right bout the time you really need a laugh. One that gets you put to bed, then sits up in the front seat all night. Some dogs stand behind their person and bark at everything. Good dogs greet your friends warmly, and those who are not your friends you will know

 

I’d like to have a dog - a buddy to train and look out for each other. Be a good companion in the truck.

Unfortunately the 2 cats found us and I don’t think they’d appreciate a canine in the mix.

I’ve had conscientious friends that owned awesome dogs, and can appreciate the bond.

Cats are great for your mental health - but about useless for helping you with anything else.

 

That second pic has a HUGE Turbo in it. Is that a spare for the one in your KW right now ?

 

I'd love to have a dog. Saw one at the shelter yesterday that I definitely would have been interested in if a dog was a good fit for our household. Dogs are like having a small child who never grows up, which is fine if you can spend a lot of time with them and be the buddy they need.

Cats fit us because they're independent and we don't have to worry that they're going stir crazy in the house by being left alone all day. They just sleep and then harass us when we get home.

Very very true. I've got three mutts and truly consider them best friends. They aren't worth a dam for anything, but they are priceless to me.

 

You know the old, “Do or do not. There is no try” speech? I looked them up in the dictionary.

DO= to perform.
TRY= to attempt.

What’s the difference? One of them leaves a question and the other leaves no doubt.

Illustrate: You enter a bad man contest 1 brawl to try to win $10 grand. The guy you’re fighting is pretty tough. You land some good shots, but he hands you your arse.

Hours later, same guy tries to snatch your daughter. Do you TRY to stop him? Or do you stop him?

See the difference? When your mind is made up, you become a force of nature.


Some people have never done anything difficult in life. They try. They problem with trying is, when there is any kind of tough opposition, odds are, you will fold. As the kidnapper is running off with your kid, do you say, “Oh well, at least I tried.”
