T-called to Lathrop. Grab an MT there and pick up in Tracy, Ca and then head back to Portland. Enjoying these 5-600 mile runs. On the way up we’ve got hustle. Then when I deliver I can kinda cruise back. Gives me time to shower and work with my trainee on her backing. It’s coming along nicely.

That was exactly my thought.... He was just taking a 30 min break and not staying too long....

Maybe he had something more important to do inside the truck before getting out... who knows...
But I agree that by parking like that, he shouldn't expect others to wait for him to get out....

Reloaded in IN and now parked at a rest area back in KY.... easy exit.... better than the small congested Pilot 5 mins from here.... Going to leave at 3 am and don't want anybody blocking me....

    Seagulls favorite food. Fig Newtons.
Back in the 1960's to mid 1980's it used to be allowed to feed the seagulls at schoodic point. Schoodic point is a part of the national park Acadia where tourists watch the waves crash on stormy days. Yet as I was growing up we learned the best thing to feed a seagull were fig newtons. The only bad thing about feeding seagulls fig newtons is they will defficate taking off.

Back when we were stupid and going through adventures in the USN, we would get a loaf of bread, a pack of Alka-seltzer and a cold pack of beer. Since changed my ways.
