Thinking of getting a Fass fuel system for a 2014 freightliner Cascsdia with a DD13. Anyone have any experience with this? Worth it?

It is one of the biggest con games in all of trucking. Kevin Rutherford was one of it's primary proponents, but he has gotten out of the truck fuel economy business in favor of truckers health issues. He is not an expert on either.
I have know 2 drivers who have had the system installed, never gave any of the fuel economy gains promised, and caused other problems. Both have had the systems removed.

Besides the scam it is. The engine already has a water separator on it.

I’d only use one if you’re building a hot rod, and need more fuel to the engine. It’s not going to give you a mileage boost.

I thought of getting one, but I never really bought into the mileage boost. I was looking at increasing the life of my injectors by keeping the impurities out. Don't figure it's worth it.

Supposedly Cummins had a tech pamphlet that running a fuel-air separator fixed the performance problems of the 903.

Thanks for the reply guys. I wasn’t expecting any kind of miles per gallon increase. Mainly just to get the air out of the fuel, Maybe a smoother running engine and increase the life of the injectors.

Has anyone had any experience with the fleet air filter?
