When i delivered Dollar Tree, i had no problem using my trailer to move dumpsters. Just an fyi, with a little practice, you can grad the handle of a 3yd’er with your icc bar and drag it forward and out of your way.

I worked at a kids outlet for about 6 months. Different route every day but the same stores once a week. It was like a running battle with the trash haulers. I'd have to push the dumpster, then they'd put it back in my way, then I'd push it again... week after week...

I had guys standing on a dock waiting for me for probably 30 minutes once. Fairly easy dock, but the truck had air-assist steering and going back and forth with the wheel would dump all the air. I was spending more time building air than I was backing.
But I think it could've been one those good day- bad day scenarios also...

some I feel like was built for day cabs only. I once delivered to Chicago. Could barely get it into the spot because of the tiny street with cars on both sides. I drove a day cab once it was a dream backing

Ok here’s mine. Now i haven’t been to this place since 2005, but i’ll never forget it as long as i live! Off of River Rd in Passaic, Nj. Some pool chemical company. They shipped from the street level docks that i would pass on my way to the ramp so i could deliver in the basement. I had to do this as a wet behind the ears noobie.

Getting in and docked was not to horribly tuff. Getting out was crazy! You had to back into the end of the bldg, (where they busted out the dock) then ride with your right front steer on a 2’ wide piece of curbing up the ramp. (Don’t scrape your fender up on the wall! Lol).

If you did it right, your tandems would make it up the approach to the ramp by inches. (I mean no B.S. less than 2”).

Was a wild ride for a newbie, but i got purty darn good at it.
