Bad teenage boy style humor...... Will let the foul intestinal gases pass through the seat rather than trap them there.

Relates back to this post a bit before that one.

After all the repairs today... came to this truck stop about 10 miles south of Fresno...

Mr. @otterinthewater ... you know where this is, don't you?
Will stay here till Monday.... my DSP was out today and the other DSP couldn't find me a load for tomorrow....
Which is good... :yes2557:cause I have been soooo tired... I REALLY welcome this weekend off....
Only thing I don't like is that when I take 34s, I am still limited to where I can go and what I can do.... But tomorrow I will go to Walmart nearby and Verizon... will walk around some and do some shopping... gotta recharge my batteries some.... have been confined in this truck for months now and dealing with one thing after another.... Gimmie a break! :biggrin_2552:

Your nose is rebelling against your vegan ways. It's had too much of that jazz. It's demanding Real Flavor.
    Mmmm.
    Bacon.
    It's what's for breakfast.
    And lunch.
    And dinner.
    And snacks.
Which brings us back to breakfast time.
    Repeat in the same order.

Rocks, 062, tramm01 and 3 others Thank this.

They are surprisngly comfortable. Great for removing back sweat on long drives.

That depends on the weather. I was mowing one year as ealy as April 8th. I used the bagger a few weeks ago and that has been it so far. Grass needs 65F+ weather to grow. Alas our weather feels like late fall. Temps in the mid fifties.

Looking at a national weather gif. The jet stream has sagged that it is still ushering in cold wet air. Normally right now we should be in the mid seventies with a overnight low in the mid fifties

The grass growing season is usually Mid May to Mid October. Sometimes it stays warm into first or second week of November.

    Rocks and 062 Thank this.

Thank you sir... good information about the weather and the seat...
BTW, I found some info about vented seats.... I had a different idea though... But this is what I found...

Ventilated Seats or seat ventilation is a feature that is built into the seats and it directs air through the seat unto the occupant for increased comfort especially on long journeys. Ventilated seats function via several small fans in the seat cushion and backrest.

I think that's what the new trucks my company bought have.... according to what one of our drivers said.... he can adjust the temp of his seat.... Oh well... I would rather have a straight 10 transmission with no bells and whistles and no temp controlled seat.... :biggrin_1square1:

And I thought I was done with repairs yesterday.... but NOPE! :biggrin_25513:
The APU belt had been making a lot of loud squealing noise every time the APU started... I had been procrastinating calling my boss about it.... But found out yesterday that ThermoKing was right around the corner from the trailer place I was yesterday...
Had I tried to find out about that yesterday, could have taken care of it while they were working on the trailer... Could have left trailer at trailer place and driven less than a mile to Thermoking place... But NOPE.... :biggrin_25513:
So, decide last night, since ThermoKing would be open today, and I am off till Monday, decided to use all my 20 personal conveyance miles to go there and have repair done....
So now I am back at the same truck stop I was... but can't use the personal conveyance miles to go to Verizon and Walmart only 3 miles away from here....:angry4::banghead:
Thinking about taking a cab though....
Got a different parking spot this time... right in front of exit... but further from the restroom...
