That analogy doesn't make any sense. Snap binders are inherently dangerous relative to ratchet binders that present virtually no chance of personal injury. There is no type of spoon that is inherently dangerous relative to a different type of spoon.

There was also a ez release snap binder. The 2 yellow ones in my pic. They were given to me,but I actually never used them. I don't know if they still make them.

Snap binder can't be that dangerous, they have been around for way over 60 years. If they were they would of made them illegal.

    Wait a minute!!!!! LMFAO ROTF

I have a couple of those somewhere. They worked good.

4 pages on snap binders. Unbelievable.

What do you expect when modern society walks around looking for others to be responsible for their actions.

This is 40+ year collection of binders I was carrying around in my trailer for a long time. Have more hanging in my shop. Everytime someone had a deal on a chain or binder,I'd buy it,throw it in the trailer, figured I'd need it some day.Securement packrat.
Never realized I was carrying so much crap, till I sold this trailer, and had to clean it all out. Every chain was 3/8 or 1/2,grade 70 at least.
Never hurt myself with a binder, but have seen it done, more than once.
