No truck should drive over 50 mph in heavy rain

I received a flash flood alert going to Indy Saturday night. It got very bad. I slowed to 45 and put the 4 ways on. Rain was going sideways and little rivers going across the road. Rare when I slow down like that.

 

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest (Portland-Seattle)
No one slows down when it rains

Umm rain isn’t bad how hard we talking like just regular rain? Now if it’s down pouring like it does in Florida and Ohio at times people usually drive 25 anyway
