I went and pulled the picture of the upright boat up in photoshop. Measured the rims on the tractor (so 22.5") and used that to measure the height of the boat and got almost 32 foot.

Pretty slick, good thinking. That's a long fall for the guy that was up in the fly bridge

Perspective doesn't change that much in 40 foot. What I did was very inaccurate, but perspective would not matter.
I made a "block" 22.5" tall based on the number of pixels for the rim of the tractor. I pasted that block up from about the tires on the trailer (tallest part of the boat) 17 times. (17 * 22.5)/12 = 31.875 feet). Like I said it very well might not be accurate but the height measurement I got was less then 40' from the height of the boat I measured at....

Er, a 22.5 LP is about 40" tall.

That boat was perhaps 23-25 tall at the top of the flybridge, the roll axis CG is about the waterline.. The video show that boat swaying back and forth when it was going straight, the cradle was set at the keel not the chines.

Which is why I said the rim. It's 22.5" (or 24.5", but that would make the boat taller, not shorter). I specifically did not measure the tire as there wasn't much contrast between the tire and the road. Made it hard to see exactly where the tire ends and the road begins.

Interesting way to secure with chains.
