    So true.

I personally know a couple over 50 drivers that have out of control Diabetes that IMHO have absolutely NO business behind the wheel of a vehicle. ANY vehicle.

How the hell the got their Medical card is beyond me. Certainly paid a Doc off to get it. There are a lot of unscrupulous Doctors out there. Including my OWN father. Another story there......

Anyways, there are tons of CDL jobs around here as well.

Don;t believe the Flat Earthers Conspiracy theorists out there.

OH ! You mean that "TRICKLE DOWN ECONOMICS THEORY touted by a certain Political Party " ? When the #### is that "supposed" to start working exactly ? Hmm ?

Our (Working Class) folks haven;t gone up jack #### in Decades ! Look at your own checks. You bet your ### that Corporate CEOs and the Top 1%'ers pay has skyrocketed !

    Where is OUR $$$ ??

A couple CPMs here and there higher..... PLEASE !!!!

If companies were serious about addressing this Driver's shortage, that could get REAL about Driver's Compensation.

Won't happen until CEOs and the Top 1%'ers start feeling the financial pain themselves. They are addicted to HORDING money! Flat out GREED !

There is no local shortage of drivers, but too many.
The past four years i was hiring one new driver a year, but had over a hundred applicants each year. This spring due to expansion I was hiring two new drivers, and had with minimal advertising, almost 200 applicants.

I seen sign like that up there some where could be the same, I asked them if they are willing to pay me $70 an hour and they said no. I told them hey you get what you pay for that’s why the signs up a while now.

But i also want to say, few people in the industry came into it thinking it’s going to be the way it’s been glorified on TV.

Really doubt anyone ever could have done what Smokey and the Bandit did or what rubber Duck did in convoy.

I make more then that right now, doing the same thing with a few more tasks.

    It’s how you value yourself.

That’s about the same pay rate as a general practitioner who spent 6-8 years in school.
