Ok, it looked to me like somebody was trying to decide if the Roadrunner lease purchase was a good deal. I only started out trying to give some positive examples of why I believe it is good. Then a lot of negative feedback from people who never tried it. I hope all goes well and everyone finds something that works for them, I did. Peace.

My typical experience was picking up at Mira Loma Friday night to Seattle Sunday night and sitting up there behind 14 trucks Monday night with only 6 loads going out, it is first come first out so I'd typically wait to Tuesday night thru as late as Thursday night before they could get me loaded out of Seattle. Many terminals would get me 80% loaded more or less and make me sit til the next night. Sometimes they'd pull the 80% and put it on a team and tell me "sorry, we don't have a load for you....".
I'd call the RR broker to get me a load but corporate would deny me getting an outside load and make me sit and wait for a terminal run. I loved it at RR but they simply couldn't keep me busy enough and they hamstrung me from getting load board loads. Whenever they did allow a broker to work with me, the broker only paid about $1.23 a mile, it was like pulling teeth to get them up to $1.5xLast edited: Jul 6, 2019

Maybe you all should go drive and spend less time asking what other people make.Kevo The Trucker Thanks this. -
Credibility became questionable with the 16000 a month bankable on 1.80 rpm soo questions for some sort of proof should be expected.

Were able to buy a l/p truck? If you don’t mind me asking. How much was it? -
Several points were made that should be considered as obvious holes in this story of paying off a l/p truck in less than a year. One, there was a post from a driver who’s been to Seattle which said that Seattle was a dead end and what you could get out wasted several days. Two, another post was that if that kinda money was available o/o A lot of o/o’s would be getting with RR. If I’m the judge, Both are strong enough arguments for me. 16k on 9000 miles?
